CHRISTMAS WONDERLAND TAKES PLACE THIS SUNDAY AFTERNOON at the Hamilton Convention Centre. Good Shepherd Ministries, sponsored by the Hospitaller Brothers of St. John of God, supported by hundreds of volunteers, will serve a festive turkey dinner with all the trimmings to about 3,000 excited guests. All will receive a special gift. It is a fine way to celebrate the birthday of Jesus Christ!

THE HERITAGE EDITION OF THE SAINT JOHN’S BIBLE will be featured during Handel’s Messiah tomorrow evening at the Centre in the Square in Kitchener. As the orchestra and choir present Handel’s sublime music, many of the illustrations from The Saint John’s Bible will be dramatically displayed in the theatre AND outside! The collaboration of St. Jerome’s University, the Grand Philharmonic Choir of Kitchener/Waterloo, and the Waterloo Critical Media Lab has also included the involvement of personnel in the Bishop Farrell Library and Archives. This promises to be a once-in-a-lifetime experience!

“OH HOLY MARY”, is the title of this year’s Advent Hymn Festival. It takes place NEXT Sunday evening, December 10th, beginning at 7 p.m. at the Cathedral Basilica of Christ the King. The Diocesan Choir and the Spanish Choir from St. Michael Parish, Oakville, will be featured. Not to be missed.
