AODA

Accessibility

The Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act, 2005 (AODA) is a provincial law in Ontario that allows the government to develop specific standards of accessibility and to enforce them.

The Diocese of Hamilton strives to ensure an accessible environment for all persons with disabilities, and will continue to build upon and improve its practices, in addition to ensuring that it meets the accessibility needs of persons with disabilities in a timely manner, consistent with the specific requirements of the AODA and its regulations.
