The Congregation of The Resurrection (C.R.) mourns the death of Father Jerome Kroetsch, The Annual Diocesan Mass for Catholic Education took place last evening at the Church of Our Lady Immaculate in Guelph. It was hosted by the Wellington Catholic District School Board, The Catholic Youth Organization (CYO) held Its Annual General Meeting on Wednesday evening at Marydale Park.

Father Kyran Kennedy died last Sunday morning and was buried at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery following a moving Funeral Mass at Christ the King Cathedral, Good Shepherd Square on King Street West in Hamilton was officially opened and dedicated today, The Serra Club of Halton was officially inaugurated last night at a Mass and dinner at Holy Rosary Parish in Burlington.

The unexpected death of 57 year-old Father Eugene Pietrasik, C.R., on August 25th, was a shock for his brother religious in the Congregation of the Resurrection; Ms. Christina Ronzio has accepted the position of Director of Liturgy for the Diocese of Hamilton; the Chancery staff marked the beginning of the new pastoral year this morning with our second annual “end-of-summer-hours” breakfast.
