Called to Serve
Every priest has a story—a quiet invitation from God, a journey of faith, and the courage to say yes.
We invite you to discover Called to Serve, a new video series featuring the vocation stories of bishops and priests serving the Diocese of Hamilton. Through their personal stories, you’ll hear about the people who encouraged them, the questions they carried, and the moments that helped them recognize God’s call.
As you follow this series, we invite you to do more than listen. Join us in praying for vocations to the priesthood. Pray for men who are beginning to sense God’s invitation, for those who feel uncertain or afraid, and for those preparing to give their lives in service to Christ and his Church.
Together, let us ask God to open hearts, strengthen faith, and raise up men willing to answer his call with love and generosity. May our families and parishes be places where that call is heard, welcomed, and encouraged.
“The harvest is plentiful, but the labourers are few; therefore ask the Lord of the harvest to send out labourers into his harvest.” — Matthew 9:37–38
