Pope Francis has launched a Synod in Rome with the theme “For a synodal Church: communion, participation, mission.” This Synod is an opportunity for Catholics to dialogue and discern how the Holy Spirit is inviting us to journey together as a Church.
This is a multi-year process of prayer, communion, and participation with the goal of answering the question:
“How does this journeying together allow the Church to proclaim the Gospel in accordance with the mission entrusted to Her; and what steps does the Spirit invite us to take in order to grow as a synodal Church?”
The preparation for the Synod of Bishops in 2023 continues as reports of each country and continent are prepared based on the local reports.
Let us pray for the success of the synod and for the guidance of the Holy Spirit as the Church embarks on the path of synodality – the way of walking together with the Lord. Click on each respective document below to view/download.
