Training and Support for Parish Facilitators

Training for Marriage Preparation

the Family Ministry Office can provide training for new or experienced teams at the parish level
a yearly workshop is offered in the Diocese so teams have updated information
for parishes looking to form a new team, an introductory session is available for possible members prior to their committing to be facilitators
many resources are available through the office on any topic relating to marriage preparation. (Contact Teresa Hartnett at 905-528-7988 ext. 2250)

Teresa Hartnett will train facilitators on the Prepare-Enrich (Facilitating Open Couple Communication, Understanding and Study) instrument
Prepare-Enrich can be facilitated by priests, deacons or lay individuals
Prepare-Enrich is both well received and very successful in motivating couples to look at their relationship and find areas of strength and areas in need of further development.
training for Prepare-Enrich can be done in a group or individual session
on-going support for facilitators is available through the Family Ministry Office

for marriage ministry teams looking for updated programs and/or information
by providing retreats or marriage enrichment for team leaders as requested
to provide materials for use in marriage preparation (includes program materials, candles, certificates); call Sarah at 905-528-7988 ext. 2249
