Remarriage Preparation
This course is for those who were previously married and received an annulment or are widowed.
Remarriage Preparation courses are developed to help empower and prepare couples who are preparing for their marriage to be blessed by the Church. The course, New Heart, New Start, from the Hamilton Diocese offers a variety of topics including the sacramentality of marriage, effective communication skills, conflict resolution, family of origin issues, intimacy and married love, financial tips and step parenting.
Course Information
The format includes a PowerPoint presentation with interactive couple exercises. The course is held on a Saturday from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
Please contact your parish priest about taking the remarriage course. After completion of the course you will receive a certificate of completion which is given to your priest to indicate that you took the course. Cost: $175 per couple (includes course materials). Please note CANCELLATION refunds are subject to a $25.00 administration fee.
