Prepare/Enrich Pre-marriage Inventory
Prepare/Enrich is a leading relationship inventory and skill-building program used nationally and internationally. It is built on a solid research foundation and significantly improves a couple's relationship. Prepare/Enrich is custom tailored to a couple's relationship and provides couple exercises to build their relationship skills.
Prepare/Enrich is administered at the parish by facilitators trained to use the instrument. When you meet with the priest at your parish to plan your wedding, those that use Prepare/Enrich as part of their marriage preparation will explain how the on-line inventory is administered and they will facilitate the discussion for you and your fiancé once the instrument is completed.
The Prepare/Enrich Pre-Marriage Inventory is not a test and is not used to predict marital success or failure. Rather, it is a tool used to help couples identify, discuss and work through important relationship issues before they get married.
Although the Prepare/Enrich Inventory is used by many parishes in the Hamilton Diocese, it is not primarily a teaching or counseling tool. Rather, it is a discussion instrument designed to optimize the marriage preparation process. By providing comprehensive content and tailoring discussion to important topics that best serve an individual couple, the Prepare/Enrich Inventory is an excellent choice when preparing for marriage.
The Prepare/Enrich Couple Report results from collating of the couple's Inventory responses. It offers a map of specific issues that may need time and attention, affirmation or problem solving, along with offering a starting place for discussion.
The Prepare/Enrich Inventory is a researched-based assessment tool designed to provide engaged couples with a personalized profile of what is needed in the couple’s marriage preparation process.
