RCIA

Each year, parishes welcome new members through the Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults (RCIA). In addition, often, parishes welcome new team members to assist pastors in providing spiritual and catechetical formation for those seeking entry into the church.

It is helpful and important that RCIA team members receive formation so that they can confidently accompany catechumens and candidates.

How does an RCIA Leader know "what to do"?

The one consistent answer is prayer. Prayer is essential to RCIA. Through prayer, we connect with God, seek guidance, and discern God’s will. We invite you to download the “Prayer as a Pathway to RCIA.”
