A Catholic lay organization founded in 1833 in France and dedicated to serving the needs of the poor. We visit the needy in their own homes providing emergency assistance through food, clothing, comfort and at times, spiritual guidance… a practice that has continued in Hamilton since 1865.

The Knights of Columbus was founded by the Venerable Father Michael McGivney in 1882 based on the principles of Charity, Unity and Fraternity.
