A Catholic lay organization founded in 1833 in France and dedicated to serving the needs of the poor. We visit the needy in their own homes providing emergency assistance through food, clothing, comfort and at times, spiritual guidance… a practice that has continued in Hamilton since 1865.

The Knights of Columbus
The Knights of Columbus was founded by the Venerable Father Michael McGivney in 1882 based on the principles of Charity, Unity and Fraternity. The Catholic Cemeteries of the Diocese of Hamilton, under the direction of Bishop Douglas Crosby, OMI, is committed to providing places of prayer and reflection for members of the local Catholic community through the provision of burial and cremation services.
