We regret to inform you that Reverend Murray McDermott, CR died on Friday, August 28, 2026. Please read the full death notification here. The funeral arrangements are below.

Visitation will take place at St. Francis of Assisi Parish, Kitchener, on Tuesday September 1, 2026, from 2:00 p.m. – 4:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m., with a Prayer Vigil at 8:00 p.m.

The Funeral Mass will take place at St. Francis of Assisi Parish, Kitchener, on Wednesday September 2, 2026 at 11:00 a.m. Interment following at Mount Hope Cemetery, Kitchener, Ontario.

Please pray that Rev. Murray McDermott, CR, may receive the reward of a good and faithful servant and that the members of his Community, his family and friends will be consoled in their faith in Christ.
