2025 Ordination to the Priesthood – A Joyful Celebration

On Saturday, May 3rd, 2025, the Diocese of Hamilton celebrated the Ordination to the Priesthood of Father Moices Caballero and Father JoonBin Lim at the Cathedral Basilica of Christ the King.

The sacred liturgy was celebrated by His Excellency, Bishop Douglas Crosby, OMI, with the presence of concelebrating bishops and priests from across the Diocese. In his homily, Bishop Crosby called on the ordinands to model their lives on Christ, the Good Shepherd, encouraging them to lead with compassion, humility, and a steadfast heart.

We rejoice in welcoming Father Moices Caballero, who has been assigned to St. Joseph Parish in Guelph, and Father JoonBin Lim, who will begin his ministry at St. Catherine of Siena Parish in Hamilton. May their priesthood be blessed with faithfulness, strength, and joy as they serve the People of God.
