The rain held off for a beautiful day of golf on Wednesday, June 5th, 2024. Over 130 gathered for the Bishop’s Charities Invitational Golf Tournament, held for the sixth year at Glen Abbey Golf Course in Oakville. The big winner of the tournament was the De Mazenod Door at St. Patrick’s Parish in Hamilton – with over $80,000 raised! Many thanks to our presenting sponsor, LiUNA!, and all who helped make the day a great success.
The Bishop’s Charities supports charitable causes within the Diocese of Hamilton and across the country. These initiatives support the poor and marginalized; children and youth facing difficulties; those faced with homelessness, mental health issues, and struggles with addictions; and various other related areas of need. Through the generosity of the faithful of the Diocese of Hamilton, the Bishop can provide support to many organizations working on the front lines with those in desperate need.
