Rejoicing in Hope – World Youth Day

At the conclusion of the Solemnity of Christ the King in 2021, Pope Francis announced that he had decided to transfer the diocesan celebration of World Youth Day to Christ the King Sunday from Palm Sunday. The theme for this year’s World Youth Day 2023 is “Rejoicing in Hope” (Romans 12:12). To read Pope Francis’ address for the 38th World Youth Day, click here.
We are so fortunate to have many ministries across the Diocese of Hamilton who accompany young people to rekindle hope in their communities. The Office of Youth Ministry has been collecting stories from youth and young adult ministries who have been doing amazing things within their parish, school, or community.
