Diocese of Hamilton Student Awards: Nancy Mancino

Date posted on September 27, 2022

of Bishop Ryan Catholic Secondary School, Hamilton

Nancy has been a high honours honour roll student since she began at Bishop Ryan. She has served as an anchor for our Announcement station, WRBR, a photographer for events at the school and a talented Vocalist for our Choir, the BR Expression. She was a member of the Law Society and a member of Student Council serving as Business Administrator. She was also a crucial member of the Yearbook committee in her role as page designer.

She has volunteered her time for TD Friends of the Environment, the Midgley Clothing drive and several events at our school. In addition to that, Nancy is a lector at her Parish, Our Lady of the Assumption, where she attends Mass with her family.

Nancy is a humble, hard working, intelligent and altruistic student who has served as an excellent role model to her peers. She is a leader, never a follower and the respect she has shown her fellow students and staff has been unwavering.

Congratulations Nancy!

The Diocese of Hamilton Award is given to a student in the graduating class in every high school across the Diocese at the end of every school year.
