Diocese of Hamilton Student Awards: Teagan Morassutti

Date posted on July 18, 2022

of St. Mary’s Secondary School, Owen Sound

Teagan Morassutti has been an active member of her church community. Prior to the pandemic, Teagan would assist with the parish breakfasts, preparing tables and cleaning up after meals. She also has participated as an altar server for parish masses as well as school masses and liturgies. This year, Teagan joined her school Youth Group where she gathers with fellow Catholics and Christians to help deepen her faith. Teagan infuses her Catholic identity into all of her in-school and community activities, such as through her volunteer work in a local retirement home.

Congratulations Teagan!

The Diocese of Hamilton Award is given to a student in the graduating class in every high school across the Diocese at the end of every school year. The Award recognizes a student in the graduating class who has attained high academic proficiency and exemplifies Catholic leadership qualities, Christian values and a commitment to service in the community.
