Grace Munaro exemplifies the characteristics of the humble servant. During her four years at Bishop Macdonell, she has worked hard, and her efforts have paid off as she has been accepted at McMaster for September. In classes, Grace loves to be part of a team. She prides herself as the classmate who “lifts people up”. When she was in a senior leadership course this year, she valued her placement where she supported students with special needs.
In the community, she enjoyed volunteering for a dance studio assisting young dancers with their form and confidence. Her kindness, spirit, and smile will be missed at Bishop Macdonell! We wish her the very best as she pursues her goals of studying Communication and Digital Media and someday potentially working abroad or for a large corporation.
The Diocese of Hamilton Award is given to a student in the graduating class in every high school across the Diocese at the end of every school year. The Award recognizes a student in the graduating class who has attained high academic proficiency and exemplifies Catholic leadership qualities, Christian values and a commitment to service in the community.
