Highlights from the 2020 Diocese of Hamilton Ordinations

On Friday, August 14th, 2020 and Saturday, August 15th, 2020, the Diocese of Hamilton gained two new permanent deacons and four new priests respectively.
Deacon Joseph Gigliotti and Deacon Paul Mulligan were ordained to the Permanent Diaconate this past Friday at the Cathedral Basilica of Christ the King in Hamilton. This was followed by the Ordination to the Priesthood on Saturday which welcomed Father Paul Joseph Edmondstone, Father Francisco Jose Sordo, Father Pawel Jan Stankiewicz and Father Hayden John Starczala to service in the diocese. Both masses were presided by His Excellency, Bishop Douglas Crosby, OMI, joined by His Excellency Bishop Ustrzycki on Saturday.
While the Cathedral wasn’t as full as previous years due to COVID-19, those present along with the Ordinandi took part in a joyous celebration. Let us pray that Jesus may be glorified in the ministry and service of these new deacons and priests and all who serve in the name of Christ the Good Shepherd!
