On September 20th, 2018, hundreds of students, parents, current and retired educators, staff, trustees, clergy and members of the Diocesan community gathered for the 11th Annual Diocesan Celebration of Catholic Education at Holy Cross Parish in Georgetown. The theme of this year's celebration was "the gift that is in you", inspired by 1 Timothy 4:14.

The Red Mass is a tradition that marks the opening of the Fall Assizes of the Supreme Court of Ontario. The Red Mass gets its name from the vestments of the priests, the robes of the judges, the tongues of fire symbolic of the Holy Spirit and the festive red of the courts. This year's Mass took place on Wednesday, September 5th at the Cathedral Basilica of Christ the King.
