2026 Mass for New Catholics

The Mass for New Catholics is a joyful celebration for our Diocese, giving thanks for those who have recently received the Sacraments of Initiation—Baptism, Confirmation, and Eucharist—at the Easter Vigil, as well as those received into full communion with the Catholic Church.

As a local Church, we gather in gratitude for the new life in Christ shared among us, and to affirm our newly initiated brothers and sisters as full participants in the Body of Christ.

This year’s Mass will be celebrated by Bishop Joseph Dabrowski at the Cathedral Basilica of Christ the King on Saturday, April 11, 2026, at 5:00 p.m.

All are warmly invited to attend and join in this celebration of faith, as we give thanks for the work God continues to do in our Diocese and pray for continued growth in faith, hope, and charity.
