Monsignor Enda Murphy

Keynote Speaker

Monsignor Enda Murphy is a priest of the Diocese of Kilmore (Ireland). He was ordained in 2001 and subsequently served in parish ministry before being sent to pursue further studies at the Pontifical Liturgical Institute at Sant’Anselmo in Rome where he obtained a doctorate in Sacred Liturgy, writing on the Rite of Acceptance into the Order of Catechumens in the Order of Christian Initiation of Adults. In 2015 he began work as an Official at the then Congregation for Divine Worship and the Discipline of the Sacraments, and in 2021 Pope Francis appointed him Head of Office in the same Dicastery. As well as his work in the Dicastery Monsignor Murphy teaches courses on the Sacraments of Christian Initiation at the Pontifical Beda College in Rome.
