During this Jubilee year, the Diocese of Hamilton invites you to a Liturgical Ministers of Hope Retreat — a special day of renewal, reflection, and spiritual growth as we deepen our commitment to serving God’s people through liturgical ministries. 

We encourage all Ministers of Music, Ministers of the Word, Children’s Liturgy of the Word, Extraordinary Ministers of Communion, Ministers of Hospitality, and Sacristans who serve in liturgical ministries to attend this enriching retreat. Together, let us rekindle our spirit of service and hope in this Jubilee year!

  • 10:00: Opening Prayer and Exposition of the Blessed Sacrament

  • 10:30: Talk – Who is a Liturgical Minister of Hope?

  • 11:00: Silent Prayer

  • 11:10: Mid-Day Prayer

  • 11:30: Talk – How do Liturgical Ministers nurture Hope?

  • 12:00: Closing Prayer and Reposition of the Blessed Sacrament

  • 12:30: Liturgical Ministers Gathering
