The annual Multicultural Mass will be celebrated on Sunday at 1:00 p.m. at the Cathedral Basilica of Christ the King. Erin Pease and Stephen Kaduuli and the organizing committee have worked hard to ensure that everything is ready and that participants from a variety of cultures will animate various parts of the Mass.
Continue readingBISHOP WILLIAM MCGRATTAN HAS BEEN APPOINTED BISHOP OF CALGARY, the Vatican announced on Wednesday at noon. He will be installed on February 27, 2017. Bishop McGrattan serves currently as the Bishop of Peterborough. Born in Brantford, Ontario, he was baptized at St. Basil’s Parish – so the Diocese of Hamilton has a legitimate claim on him. We pray for blessings in his new ministry! Bishop McGrattan has already assured us that he will still preach the Retreat for Priest’s in May!
