
Religious & Consecrated Life
All of the baptized are called to holiness through a relationship with God. Some people receive a call to live their baptism through religious life.
Religious communities are usually modelled on the spirituality and traditions that were set by that particular community's founder. Religious profess what are referred to as the Evangelical counsels: poverty, chastity and obedience. There are religious priests, brothers and sisters.
