In 2021, the Canadian Conference of Catholic Bishops announced its intention to create the Indigenous Reconciliation Fund. This fund further demonstrates the Catholic Church's commitment to Reconciliation with Indigenous peoples on Turtle Island - and provides financial support for community-driven projects that promote healing, reconciliation, and lasting change for First Nations, Metis, and Inuit peoples. The IRF is a national project, with input at the local Diocesan level.

The Diocese of Hamilton is now welcoming applications for the first round of funding (up to $25,000 per proposal) that fit one or more of the areas below. Download the infographic (PDF).
