The Order of Celebrating Matrimony Information Sessions

Who are these sessions for?

We invite Permanent Deacons, Lay Parish Ministers, Parish Musicians, and all others who assist couples in preparation for the Sacrament of Holy Matrimony

What are these sessions about?

The Canadian Conference of Catholic Bishops has recently published The Order of Celebrating Matrimony.This translation of the Second Edition of the Latin Ordo celebradi Matrimonium of 1991 is the sole English-language translation and version hereby permitted for use in the Dioceses of Canada immediately upon publication. Its use is mandatory beginning September 8, 2017. 

These sessions will provide information on the changes made to the ritual book, as well as other information that is pertinent to the preparation of couples for the Sacrament of Matrimony.
