Who is the workshop for?
Extraordinary Ministers of Holy Communion who have been exercising this ministry of charity during the celebration of the Sunday Eucharist,
or with the sick and elderly in hospitals or homes, are invited to participate in this day of reflection to renew their mandate and refresh their understanding of the ministry.
What is the workshop about?
The story of the disciples encounter with Jesus along the Road to Emmaus has much to say to us about our own encounter with Him in the Mass.Today we will look at this beautiful post-Resurrection account, and explore what it has to say to us about how we are called to meet the Risen Lord “in the breaking of the bread”.
