Diocese of Hamilton Student Award: Rhylin Brown

Rhylin Brown is the recipient of the Diocese of Hamilton Student Award from St. Thomas More Catholic Secondary School in Hamilton.

Rhylin is currently an altar server at the Corpus Christi site and belongs to St. Catherine of Siena Parish. She was awarded the Serra Club Bishop's Altar Server Award in 2017. Rhylin was also very involved in the life of the school at St. Thomas More. She was a Prefect and served as an Executive on the We Scare Hunger campaign. She was a member of the Yearbook, Christmas Miracle, Athletic Council and Best Buddies committees and is also a dedicated volunteer with over 100 hours of volunteer work.

The Diocese of Hamilton Award is given to a student in the graduating class in every high school across the Diocese at the end of every school year. The Award recognizes a student in the graduating class who has attained high academic proficiency and exemplifies Catholic leadership qualities, Christian values and a commitment to service in the community.
