Diocese of Hamilton Student Awards: Hayley Goodall
Hayley Goodall is a Grade 12 student at Monsignor Doyle Catholic Secondary School, Cambridge and most recently spent a portion of her second semester in Kenya on a ME to WE mission. She also completed the Church and Culture curriculum along with a Service Learn credit, enlightening her on how to become a well-informed global citizen by experiencing first hand the challenges of education in a developing country.
Hayley has been a fantastic ambassador for the Monsignor Doyle community. She was involved in many extra curricular activities, such as cross country, track and field, athletic council, general council and the Specialist High Skills Program. Hayley graduated with a Red Seal on her diploma, signifying her passion to work in the field of Health and Wellness in the future.
Hayley has been involved in many social justice events, school committees and charity events, including WE DAY, Into the Cold, and the Dominican Republic Encounter.
Her future plans are to study Respiratory Therapy in order to further her goal of continuing to serve others.
The Diocese of Hamilton Award is given to a student in the graduating class in every high school across the Diocese at the end of every school year. The Award recognizes a student in the graduating class who has attained high academic proficiency and exemplifies Catholic leadership qualities, Christian values and a commitment to service in the community.
