Highlights from 2018 Wedding Anniversary Mass
On Sunday, June 10, 2018, 435 couples gathered together to celebrate the Wedding Anniversary Mass. Bishop Douglas Crosby, OMI, was the principal celebrant and remarked how, altogether, the couples represented over 19,000 years of marriage!
During his Homily, Bishop Crosby commented on the beautiful commitment these couples have continuously made to one another, as well as the many challenges that come in life. Each couple had the opportunity to "renew before the Lord the promises you made to one another" in the renewal of vows, sealed with a kiss!
Couples who celebrated were married 25, 40, 50, and 60 or more years with James and Margaret Miklos and Stan and Sheila Smydo celebrating their seventy-second and seventy-first anniversaries, respectively.
We invite you to see the highlights from the Mass below. Please click on the first link for an entire gallery of photographs from the Mass and of couples with Bishop Crosby following the Mass.
