Diocese of Hamilton Award:
The Diocese of Hamilton award is presented to a graduating student who has attained high academic proficiency, and who exemplifies Catholic leadership qualities, Christian values, and a commitment to service in the community.
This year's recipient from St. Jerome's University is Lydia Notten. Lydia embodies an exceptional combination of academic excellence, community-building, and leadership qualities. In her time at St. Jerome’s University, Lydia has gone above and beyond to make others feel welcomed.
She has fostered a community and culture of equality and human dignity for all. She has put her whole heart into supporting and motivating others. Lydia is a phenomenal student whose authenticity and true kindness will continue to inspire as an alum.
Lydia is the first feature for the summer of the Diocese of Hamilton Student Awards.
