Diocese of Hamilton Student Awards: Angel Bougouneau
Angel Bougouneau is a grade 12 student at St. John Bosco Secondary School in Guelph. She is a vibrant member of her school and parish community. Although Angel struggles with a chronic illness, her ability to persevere in all situations is one of her greatest qualities.
Angel is an excellent student, athlete, photographer, leader, and friend. She is very well-rounded and meets or exceeds all of the Catholic Graduate Expectations. Angel amazes us each and every day, and her wonderful smile is a constant reminder that Jesus is present in everyone we meet.
The Diocese of Hamilton Award is given to a student in the graduating class in every high school across the Diocese at the end of every school year. The Award recognizes a student in the graduating class who has attained high academic proficiency and exemplifies Catholic leadership qualities, Christian values and a commitment to service in the community.
