On Monday, March 21st, the annual Chrism Mass was held at the Cathedral Basilica of Christ the King. Bishop Douglas Crosby, OMI, concelebrated with his college of Priests and at which he consecrated the Holy Chrism and blessed the other oils, manifesting the communion of Priests with their Bishop.
Earlier in March, over 50 pilgrims from the Diocese of Hamilton gathered together at Resurrection College in Waterloo for a preparation retreat for World Youth Day. Join us for Holy Week and Easter as we participate in Jesus' Death and Resurrection. We remember the commands that Jesus gave us on the night before He died, we relive His death on Good Friday, we keep vigil and rejoice in His Resurrection on Easter Sunday.

On Sunday, February 28th, the Diocese of Hamilton celebrated its 160th Anniversary at the Cathedral Basilica of Christ the King. The 11:00a.m. Mass hosted a variety of special guests, including His Grace, Archbishop Luigi Bonazzi, the Apostolic Nunzio of Canada, who preached at Mass during his first official visit to the Diocese. Also present was Dr. Kevin Smith, who was honoured as a Knight of St. Gregory.
